KARACHI: As a result of the further increase in the price of gold, the prices at the global and local levels reached their highest.
The price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market increased by $60 to a new high of $3,540, as a result of which the price of 24-carat gold at the local level also increased by Rs6,000 per tola, reaching a new high of Rs376,700 per tola.
Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams in the country increased by Rs5,144 to a new high of Rs322,959.
