Gold prices dip after new record high, New rates issued

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan dipped slightly amidst a fall in international bullion rates. Prices exchanged by the Sarafa Association indicate the price of gold per tola falling by Rs2,400 to Rs388,600.

Likewise, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs2,058 to Rs333,161. Yesterday, prices had been unchanged at Rs388,100 after setting an all-time high.

On the international market front, gold prices were also down. APGJSA reported a global rate of $3,668 per ounce (inclusive of a $20 premium), down by $24.

The price of silver followed suit, the per tola rate dropping by Rs109 to Rs4,387.
