LAHORE: The Anti-Corruption Establishment Lahore has summoned former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi to appear before investigators on Monday in connection with corruption allegations.
According to officials, Elahi is accused of receiving commissions in various development schemes undertaken in Gujranwala during his tenure.
The Anti-Corruption Department had already summoned him for questioning today (Wednesday), but he failed to appear before the authorities.
Following his absence, the department has issued a fresh summons asking him to appear on Monday, warning that further action may be taken if he does not comply with the order.
