KARACHI: Gold prices have once again recorded a significant increase in global and local markets, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association.

Gold per tola has become more expensive by Rs 11,100 in the local market to reach a new high of Rs 488,962.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs 9,517, after which it reached Rs 419,206.

On the other hand, gold prices also witnessed an increase in the global Sarafa market, where gold per ounce has reached $ 4,666 after an increase of $ 111.

According to experts, global economic uncertainty and investors’ tendency towards safe investments are among the major reasons for the increase in gold prices.
