KARACHI: Gold prices are at an all-time high because of the ongoing global trade war between the US and China, which has put investors in a state of worry.
After a huge Rs 7,800 price hike, the price of 24-karat gold rose to its highest level ever on Thursday with the prices reaching to Rs328,800 per tola.
Similar price increases were reported by dealers for 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which currently trades at Rs281,893 after rising by Rs6,688. Additionally, 10 grams of 22-karat gold saw a price increase, trading at Rs 258,411.
After a 64-rupee increase, the price of 24-karat silver per tola is now Rs3,234. The price of gold increased by $78 on a global scale as well, to $3,118 an ounce.
