Gold prices receive hike by 600 per tola in Pakistan

KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a slight recovery on Wednesday, reversing a two-day downward trend. According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs600 to Rs275,500, while the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs515 to Rs236,197.

This upward trend was mirrored in the international market, where gold prices surged by $6 to reach $2,653 per ounce.

However, silver rates in Pakistan remained stagnant, with per tola and per 10-gram prices holding steady at Rs3,050 and Rs2,614.88, respectively.

The rebound comes after gold prices had declined the previous day, with per-tola gold dropping by Rs600 to Rs274,900 and 10-gram gold decreasing by Rs515 to Rs235,682.
