KARACHI: After a period of recent decline, gold prices have increased again in the local market.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola has risen by Rs2,300, reaching Rs493,162.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs1,971, bringing it to Rs422,806.
In the international market, gold prices also recorded an upward trend. The global rate increased by $23, reaching $4,708 per ounce.
Market analysts attribute the rise to fluctuations in global demand and economic uncertainty, which continue to influence bullion markets worldwide.
