ISLAMABAD: Gold rates in Pakistan held steady on Monday, with the per tola rate at Rs. 428,862 in the local market.
As per the details, the price for 10 grams was also unchanged at Rs. 367,680, according to figures from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, gold had reached Rs. 428,862 per tola after a rise of Rs. 2,300 during the day.
Internationally, gold prices remained stable at $4,065 per ounce, including a $20 premium. Silver was priced at Rs. 5,270 per tola in the local market.
However, global gold prices slipped for a third straight session on Monday as the US dollar hovered near six-month highs and investors awaited further signals on US interest rates.
Spot gold was down 0.4% at $4,045.58 per ounce as of 0536 GMT, while US gold futures for December delivery dropped 0.9% to $4,042.50 per ounce.
