KARACHI: Due to continued buying activity by investors, gold prices in the international bullion market saw an increase of $17, taking the rate to $2,900 per ounce.
Similarly, local gold markets witnessed an upward trend on Monday. The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,700 to Rs303,200, while the price per 10 grams increased by Rs1,458 to Rs259,945.
On the contrary, there was no change in the price of silver, remaining stable at Rs3,350 per tola and Rs2,872.08 per 10 grams.
