KARACHI: According to data released by bullion markets across the country, a decrease in the price of gold has been recorded.
According to the Sindh Bullion Bazaar Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola has decreased by Rs 700, after which the new price has become Rs 540,562. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has also decreased by Rs 600 and the new price has been set at Rs 463,444.
It should be remembered that yesterday, the price of gold per tola had increased significantly by Rs 1,300, while after increasing for 6 consecutive days, a slight decrease has been seen today. According to experts, price fluctuations in the global market and changes in the value of the rupee against the dollar affect local rates.
Bullion Bazaar sources say that despite the recent decrease in prices, the overall level is still high, due to which buyers are adopting a cautious attitude. On the other hand, people with investment tendencies are looking for buying opportunities, considering gold a safe investment.
