ISLAMABAD: The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs10,000 and was sold for Rs539,962 on Wednesday, compared to Rs549,962 on the previous trading day.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also fell by Rs8,573 from Rs471,503 to Rs462,930, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs7,859 from Rs432,226 to Rs424,367.
The price of silver per tola increased by Rs100 from Rs8,904 to Rs9,004, while the price of 10 grams of silver increased by Rs86 from Rs7,633 to Rs7,719.
The association added that in the international market, the price of gold decreased by $100 from $5,272 to $5,172, while the price of silver increased from $84.20 to $85.20.
