Sindh Academic Calendar 2026-27 announced, summer holidays June 1–July 31

KARACHI: The start of the academic year, examination schedule and holidays have been announced for this year, and when will the summer holidays be?

According to the details, the Sindh government has officially approved the curriculum calendar for the academic year 2026-27, which includes the start of the academic year, examination schedule and holiday timings.

The approval was given in a meeting of the steering committee chaired by Sindh Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah.

The committee has fixed the summer holidays from June 1 to July 31, 2026 and the winter holidays from December 21 to December 31, 2026.

The academic year will start from April 1, 2026, while admissions for students of Grade 9 and below will be from March 1 to March 31.

The exams for Grade 9 and 10 will be held from March 30 to April 15, 2026, the results of which will be released on June 1 for Grade 10 and June 15 for Grade 9.

Similarly, admissions for Grade 11 will be held from June 1 to the last week of July under the Central Admission Policy, while the examinations for Grades 11 and 12 will be held from April 15 to April 30, 2026, and the results for Grade 12 will be released on June 15 and the results for Grade 11 on July 1, 2026.

Students whose grades are from 1 to 3 will be promoted to the next class without examination, while the examinations for Grades 4 to 8 will be held from March 1 to 15, 2026.
