ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in the country have dropped significantly at the beginning of the new year.
On the fourth day of the business week, gold has become cheaper by Rs 2,400 per tola to Rs 454,562.
While 10 grams of gold has fallen by Rs 2,058 to Rs 389,713.
It should be noted that in 2025, an increase of Rs 184,362 was recorded in the price of gold.
At the end of last year, the price of gold per tola was recorded at Rs 456,962, while at the end of 2024, the price of gold in the local market was Rs 272,600 per tola.
Thus, in 2025, gold per tola became expensive by Rs 184,362.
