ISLAMABAD: In Pakistan, gold prices saw a slight uptick at the end of the week as the price touched Rs 262,500 per tola.
Data shared by the Sarafa Association showed that the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs 1,000 per tola, touching Rs 262,500. The price of gold has increased by Rs 857 per 10 grams, taking the total price to Rs 225,051.
Local bullion prices rose despite a fall in the international gold market. Globally, the price of gold per ounce decreased by 13 dollars which is now at 2503 dollars.
Silver prices remained stable, with prices per tola hovering around Rs 2,950, while prices per 10 grams remained at Rs 2,529.14.
