ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Saturday, following an upward trend in the international bullion market.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs2,400, reaching Rs424,236.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs2,057 to Rs363,713.
A day earlier, on Friday, the price of gold had fallen by Rs3,600 per tola to Rs421,836.
In the international market, gold gained $24 per ounce, taking the price to $4,018 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market also moved higher, with the price of one tola of silver increasing by Rs41 to Rs6,070.
