ISLAMABAD: A warning has been issued regarding the one-dish policy in wedding halls in the federal capital that cases will be registered against marquee owners who violate the law more than once.

According to details, the district administration has once again become active to stop extravagance in wedding ceremonies in Islamabad. The warning time has now ended for those who violate the federal government’s ‘one-dish policy’ and the phase of strict action has begun.

The administration has taken major decisions to ensure the implementation of the one-dish policy in the federal capital at all costs.

The new orders issued by Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon said that cases will now be registered directly against marquee owners who are found guilty of violating the law more than once.

Not only this, if the law is violated for the second time, the relevant marquee will be immediately sealed and the owners will be sent behind bars.

The administration says that if anyone tries to hold a function inside the sealed building, he will not only face arrest but also a heavy fine.

The DC Islamabad has directed all the Assistant Commissioners to take action in their respective areas on a daily basis without any discrimination.

It has also been made clear to the police that the arrest of the violators should be ensured at all costs so that the federal government’s savings policy can be made successful.
