KARACHI: Gold prices registered an increase in Pakistan on Saturday, tracking gains in the international bullion market.
According to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,100, reaching Rs433,536 in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs943 to Rs371,687.
The increase comes a day after a decline in gold prices. On Friday, the price of gold per tola had fallen by Rs1,400 to Rs432,436.
Bullion market experts said fluctuations in international gold prices continue to influence local rates, with investor sentiment and global economic developments remaining key factors behind market movements.
