ISLAMABAD: Families planning to apply for the government’s Apna Ghar Scheme should first ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and have all the required documents ready before submitting their applications.

The housing initiative is aimed at helping eligible Pakistani families access affordable housing finance. Applicants must fulfill specific requirements related to identity, income, and documentation to qualify for the scheme.

According to the eligibility criteria, applicants must be Pakistani citizens holding a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC). They are also required to provide accurate personal and financial information during the registration process.

The scheme primarily targets low and middle-income households, and income limits may apply under the program’s guidelines. Applicants should also demonstrate the ability to repay the loan through the approved installment plan. Providing incorrect information or incomplete documents may result in delays or rejection of the application.

Required Documents

Applicants are generally required to submit the following documents:

  • Valid CNIC
  • Recent passport-size photographs
  • Proof of monthly income or salary
  • Utility bill or proof of residence
  • Bank account details (where required)
  • Property documents, if applicable

After completing the online application form and uploading the required documents, authorities will verify the information before making a final decision.

Important Tips for Applicants

Officials advise applicants to carefully read all eligibility conditions before applying. They should keep scanned copies of all required documents ready, enter their CNIC number accurately, provide an active mobile number, and review the application thoroughly before submission.

Applicants are also encouraged to apply only through the official registration platform and retain a copy of the submitted application for future reference.

Since eligibility rules may be updated from time to time, applicants should always check the latest official guidelines before starting the registration process.
