ISLAMABAD: According to OGRA, the liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) price has increased in June 2026. The price hike applies not only to domestic cylinders but also to the per-kilogram price of LPG.
The current notification states that the LPG consumer price has been finalized at Rs. 308.76 per kilogram, which is a rise of Rs. 4.95 per kilogram against the last month’s rate.
Moreover, the LPG price for an 11.8 kg domestic cylinder has been finalized at Rs. 3,643.41.
These revised rates have been effective since June 1, 2026, in accordance with the latest determination by OGRA.
According to OGRA’s notification, the maximum LPG consumer price has been worked out through the inclusion of producer prices, petroleum levy, marketing and distribution margins, transportation expenses, and sales taxes, if any.
In this regard, OGRA stated that the prescribed rates are the maximum permissible prices during the distribution process. However, producers, marketers, and distributors may sell LPG below the mentioned ceiling prices.
