More than 252 connections cut off in Punjab, KP & Islamabad by SNGPL

SNGPL maintained its raids in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad during the ongoing crackdown against gas pilferers, cutting an additional 252 connections and imposing a fine of Rs 5.8 million.

The regional team in Lahore severed connections to 12 illicit gas users and three compressor users. In Rawalpindi, the crew severed four connections related to illicit gas usage and one related to compressor use, collecting Rs 0.21 million in connection with gas theft cases.

Also, the group filed one FIR in relation to a gas theft case.In Multan, 20 connections were cut due to compressor use, while 04 connections were cut due to illicit gas use.

The business cut 155 connections in Peshawar and Karak due to the direct and illicit use of gas, and it also confiscated Rs 5.5 million in connection with gas theft cases. Two connections were cut in Sahiwal due to the use of compressors, while two more were cut due to the use of gas illegally.

43 connections were cut off in Sheikhupura due to unauthorized gas use, and charges of gas theft totaling Rs 0.03 million were registered. The Bahawalpur regional team severed the first link related to gas theft. The team in Faisalabad removed five connections for using gas illegally and fined people Rs 0.06 million for gas theft.
