Nationwide surge in gold prices after recent decline

KARACHI: The gold prices in Pakistan have increased by more than 3,000 rupees, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association.

After which, the price of gold per tola has reached 490,362 rupees. According to the association, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by 2,915 rupees to 420,406 rupees.

Earlier, Gold prices in bullion markets across Pakistan witnessed a significant decline, reversing the sharp gains recorded a day earlier.

According to the All Pakistan Bullion Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs7,100, bringing it down to Rs486,962. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs6,087 to Rs417,491.

In the international market, gold prices also declined by $71 per ounce, settling at $4,642, reflecting a broader downward trend.

The drop comes just a day after gold prices surged by Rs15,300 per tola, highlighting ongoing volatility in both local and global bullion markets. Analysts attribute these fluctuations to changing international trends and currency movements.
