Pakistan borrows Rs 350 billion in July, debt reaches Rs 78.2 trillion

ISLAMBAD: The government of Pakistan has borrowed Rs 350 billion in the first month of the new fiscal year.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan, government debt has increased by Rs 350 billion in the first month of the current fiscal year to Rs 78,238 billion.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the government’s domestic debt has increased by Rs 517 billion to Rs 54,988 billion at the end of July.

In addition, the government’s external debt has decreased by Rs 167 billion to Rs 23,250 billion in July.
