ISLAMABAD: In a significant progress in Pakistan-China industrial cooperation under the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), a historic 5-year technology transfer agreement was signed between both countries.
As per details, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Pakistan Industrial Sewing Machines Importers and Dealers Association (PSMEDA) and the Chinese Guangdong Shoemaking Machinery Association.
This agreement aims to introduce modern machinery in the shoemaking, leather, and garment sectors.
Vice Chairman PSMEDA Muhammad Yasin also represented Pakistan at the international exhibition “JISMA” held in China.
This agreement is a historic milestone that will provide immense benefits to several industries of Pakistan, Yasin said.
The high-level meetings discuss opportunities for Pak-China cooperation and strategic development.
