ISLAMABAD: Details of taxes collected from consumers on petroleum products have been presented in the National Assembly.
According to the document, it has been revealed that three types of taxes are being collected from consumers on petroleum products.
A tax of Rs 78 on high-speed diesel, Rs 82 on petrol, while 10 percent customs duty is also being collected from consumers on high-speed diesel and petrol.
In addition to Rs 75.41 petroleum levy on high-speed diesel, Rs 2.50 climate support levy, and 10 percent customs duty are being collected.
The document stated that Rs 79.62 on petrol, Rs 77 on furnace oil, Rs 2.50 climate support levy on petrol, and 10 percent customs duty are being collected.
It has also been revealed that a levy of Rs. 18.95 is levied on kerosene oil, Rs. 15.37 is levied on light diesel oil, and 18 percent GSTB is levied on furnace oil.
