ISLAMABAD: In view of the decline in oil prices in the international market, there is a possibility of fluctuations in the prices of petroleum products for the next 15 days from August 16.

The relevant authorities have estimated a decrease in the price of high-speed diesel by Rs 11.75 per liter.

On the other hand, the price of petrol is likely to increase by Rs 1.32 per liter, while the price of kerosene is expected to decrease by Rs 6.25 and the price of light diesel oil by Rs 7.11 per liter.

Crude oil futures fell to a two-month low of $ 62.7 per barrel after the International Energy Agency predicted a growing surplus of oil this year and next.

If these proposals are approved, the new price of high-speed diesel may decrease from Rs 282.83 to Rs 274.08 per liter.
