PIA ends all discounts amid rising fuel costs

ISLAMABAD: Due to the expensive jet fuel, PIA has taken an important decision and the administration has decided to end the discounts given to people from different sectors.

According to a private TV, PIA has decided to end the discounts given to students, senior citizens, journalists, retired military persons, ASF personnel and the PIA administration has instructed the staff at all airports regarding this decision.

Confirming this, the PIA spokesperson said that PIA has withdrawn all types of discounts and this decision has been taken until the fuel prices return to normal.

The PIA spokesperson says that PIA is under severe pressure in expenses due to the expensive jet fuel, which is why the discounts given to people from all sectors have been eliminated.
