RAWALPINDI: A shutter-down strike has been announced on October 28 due to a sharp increase in flour prices.

According to the details, flour prices in Rawalpindi have once again increased significantly, with an 80-kg sack of fine flour exceeding Rs 11,700, while a sack of red flour has reached above Rs 10,500.

After the price increase, the price of naan has been increased from Rs 30 to Rs 35 and oily naan from Rs 50 to Rs 60.

The Nanbai Association has announced a tandoor shutter-down strike on October 28 against expensive flour.
