Pak W vs SA W: Pakistan opt to field after winning toss

COLOMBO: Pakistan women’s team has won the toss and decided to bowl first against South Africa women in the 22nd game of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 at the R. Premadasa Stadium on Tuesday.

Pakistan will be looking to register their first win in the current World Cup, after a winless tour with three defeats in succession and two matches washed out due to rain.

South Africa, on the other hand, will seek to continue their winning run in the competition.

Pakistan Women: Muneeba Ali, Omaima Sohail, Sidra Amin, Aliya Riaz, Natalia Pervaiz, Fatima Sana (c), Sidra Nawaz (wk), Rameen Shamim, Diana Baig, Nashra Sandhu, and Sadia Iqbal.

South Africa Women: Laura Wolvaardt (c), Tazmin Brits, Sune Luus, Annerie Dercksen, Marizanne Kapp, Karabo Meso (wk), Chloe Tryon, Nadine de Klerk, Nondumiso Shangase, Ayabonga Khaka and Nonkululeko Mlaba.
