KARACHI – The prices of solar panels have decreased considerably in Pakistan just before the onset of the summer season.
The price of solar panels in Pakistan has decreased by 30% over the last six months, according to traders, which is good news for consumers.
They revealed that the massive price decline was witnessed due to a higher supply of solar panels in the market.
They added that the cost of a solar panel in Pakistan has dropped to less than Rs40 per watt.

The average price of per watt solar panel in Pakistan stands at Rs37, said the traders amid fears of further decline in the rates.
As of May 2024, the solar panel plates for the 7-kilowatt system will now cost Rs259,000 in Pakistan.
