Will announce a significant reduction in the prices of petroleum products today: Prime Minister

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that whatever our government has reduced the prices of oil, it will be returned to the nation and will announce a significant reduction today.

Speaking in the National Assembly, Shehbaz Sharif said that today the name of Pakistan is resonating with honor and dignity all over the world, Pakistan’s prestige has been raised in every region of the world.

He said that he spoke to the President of Iran yesterday evening, the President of Iran repeatedly thanked Pakistan, he said that he will come to Pakistan and thank the people there.

The Prime Minister said that 3 months ago, when the war broke out, oil prices caught fire, but after the ceasefire, oil prices are now falling rapidly, of course it will decrease further, the ceasefire will now bring economic prosperity to the region, oil prices are coming down and now that dark night is about to end, at that time our resources were limited, today the weekly prices of oil and petrol are to be announced, today a significant reduction will be announced.

Shahbaz Sharif further said that for national unity, we are one and will remain one, I would also like to thank the Deputy Prime Minister for his full contribution, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi played his full role regarding Iran, I would also like to thank the Leader of the Opposition, the most key role in this success belongs to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, we have no desire to take credit, but the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of giving credit to the nation was on our minds.

The Prime Minister said that the last rites of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei will be performed on July 3 and 4. The President of Iran invited us to attend it. I said that it is our duty and the Pakistani delegation will be there. We are two brothers who will cooperate very closely in the coming times.
