Balochistan Matric exams to begin February 10

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti has announced that the matriculation examinations in Balochistan will begin from February 10, 2026.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti made the announcement regarding the commencement of matriculation examinations on social media platform X.

The Chief Minister emphasized that there will be no leniency regarding cheating and strict steps will be taken to stop corruption. Bugti further said that the police, deputy commissioners and the education department will work together to eliminate cheating.

He reiterated that the provincial government is committed to making Balochistan free from corruption at all levels, including education.

Balochistan has recently witnessed bloody attacks in large parts of the province, which were promptly foiled by the Pakistani armed forces.

Terrorists targeted several districts of Balochistan including Quetta, Gwadar, Mastung, Noshki, Dalbandin, Kharan and Pasni, including armed men and suicide bombers.

Sources say that during the three-day operation, 22 personnel from the Pakistan Army, Frontier Constabulary (FC), Police and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency were martyred while 197 terrorists were killed while defending the homeland and protecting innocent citize
