KARACHI: Benazir Taleemi Wazaif, a conditional cash transfer program that BISP developed for the education of children of registered Kafalat recipients, has officially begun to distribute the quarterly installment.
To allow students to continue their studies uninterrupted, the quarterly stipend is being distributed for the April–June 2025 period.
Financial aid for education up to the upper secondary level is given out on a quarterly basis. By guaranteeing retention, the additional financial incentives seek to encourage recipients to enroll their kids in schools or colleges and reduce the dropout rate.

Eligibility criteria for enrollment of children in the Benazir Taleemi Wazaif program includes that the parents of child should be active BISP Kafalat Beneficiary.
Additionally, the age criteria for children aged 4 to 12 years old are to be enrolled in primary education. The age criteria for enrollment are 8-18 years for enrollment in Secondary Education, and the age criteria for the child between the age of 13-22 years for enrollment in Higher Secondary Education.
Each boy child enrolled in elementary school will receive Rs 1,500 under the May 2025 quarterly stipend, while each girl receives Rs 2,000. Instalments for secondary school are Rs 2,500 for boys and Rs 3,000 for girls per quarter. Similarly, for upper secondary education, BISP pays quarterly installments of Rs4,500 for girls and Rs 3,500 for boys.
Through bank accounts or designated centers, eligible beneficiaries can obtain their Taleemi Wazaif for April–June 2025 quarterly installment.
