ISLAMABAD: The Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has introduced an initiative to offer educational scholarships to children of registered beneficiaries.
The initiative aims to promote school attendance and reduce dropout rates by providing financial assistance to families.
Children must be registered in the BISP system through the Dynamic Registry process. The program applies to students in three categories:
Primary (Ages 4–12)
Secondary (Ages 8–18)
Higher Secondary (Ages 13–22)
Under the updated scheme, primary school students will receive a stipend of Rs2,500 per quarter for boys and Rs3,000 for girls.
For secondary school students, the amount has been set at Rs3,500 for boys and Rs4,000 for girls.
Meanwhile, higher secondary school students will now receive Rs 4,500 for boys and Rs 5,000 for girls.
Beneficiaries should visit the nearest Benazir Income Support Tehsil Office with their child and the original B-Form (issued by NADRA).
The child’s school should be officially recognized and registered. Once verified, the scholarship will be released regularly, with at least 70% school attendance.
This program not only supports education but also empowers underprivileged families by investing in their children’s future.
