ISLAMABAD: The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has issued an advance public notice for the Central Superior Services (CSS) Competitive Examination 2026, sharing important dates and deadlines for candidates.
According to FPSC, the public notice for online applications for the MCQ-based Preliminary Test (MPT) will be issued on August 10, 2025. The MPT is a screening test for candidates who wish to appear for the CSS written examination.
The window for submission of MPT applications will be open from August 11 to August 25, 2025. Candidates who successfully qualify the preliminary examination will then be eligible to apply for the CSS written examination, with the application period scheduled from December 15 to December 30, 2025.
The CSS 2026 written examination is scheduled to begin on February 4, 2026. The CSS exam is one of the most competitive and challenging exams in Pakistan, with only a small percentage of candidates managing to clear the written section every year.
FPSC advised all applicants to prepare well and follow the official instructions and timelines closely.
