Karachi Matric, Inter exams 2026 to begin from March 31

KARACHI: The Provincial Education Department has officially announced the dates for the annual matriculation and intermediate examinations to take place.

As per the schedule, the matric exams for Class 9 and 10 will start on March 31, i.e., immediately after Eid ul Fitr 2026. With a short 15-day gap, the Intermediate annual exams will start from April 15.

This was announced during a Thursday meeting chaired by Sindh Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah, during which the Steering Committee also decided to begin the 2026-27 academic session on April 1.

Similarly, students and parents can mark their calendars for results too, as the matric results are on June 1st, while the intermediate results will be made available by June 15th, thus closing this cycle of academics.

Therefore, with the exams around the corner, the focus for the students is to make sure they finish up their preparations properly and achieve the top results for what seems to be the most important academic season for Sindh.
