PESHAWAR: The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has postponed the annual matriculation and inter examinations due to Ramadan, here on Tuesday.
All education boards have been directed to reschedule the matriculation examinations after Ramadan, with new dates to be fixed in April. Initially planned for March 5, the examinations will now begin from April 8.
Peshawar Board Chairman Nasrullah Khan confirmed that the provincial government has ordered the examinations to be held in April and an official notification will be issued this week.
Meanwhile, inter examinations in the province have been rescheduled from April 10 to May 7.
