ISLAMABAD: Private educational institutions in the Islamabad will reopen from tomorrow, January 6, after the winter vacations end.
As per the details, the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority has issued a notification for the opening of private educational institutions in Islamabad from tomorrow.
Private School Association Secretary General Abdul Waheed Khan says that a lot of time has already been lost by children due to sit-ins and protests, so no proposal to extend the vacations is under consideration.
He said that parents have been instructed to send their children to school wearing warm uniforms, jackets or sweaters.
He added that due to rising inflation, the administration of private schools has taken this decision to avoid putting an additional burden on the pockets of parents.
It should be noted that the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority had announced winter vacations in private educational institutions in the federal capital.
The notification stated that private schools and colleges in the city will remain closed from December 21 to January 5 for winter vacations. Educational activities will resume in private educational institutions in the federal capital from January 6.
