LAHORE: The Punjab government has extended the winter holidays for schools across the province, with institutions now remaining closed until January 10, 2025.
The decision comes as part of the revised winter holiday schedule approved by the Chief Minister under the Khadim Punjab Schools Program Classes will resume on January 13, 2025.
In Murree, known for its cold climate, winter holidays have been further extended from December 20, 2024, until February 28, 2025, to ensure the safety of students during harsh weather conditions.
Additionally, the Education Department has issued a reminder for all schools to enforce the use of face masks on premises as part of health and safety protocols amidst ongoing public health concerns.
