Punjab govt extends deadline for School Teachers Intern program

LAHORE: According to media reports, the Punjab government has extended the deadline for submitting application forms for the School Teachers Interns Programme.

The official announcement stated that the applications of candidates could be received now till November 24. It said that the merit list would be displayed outside schools on November 26 at 10:00 p.m., while the interviews of the shortlisted candidates would be conducted on November 29.

Appointment orders for selected interns will be issued on December 1, 2025.

Officials said the program has received more than 220,000 applications thus far, reflecting strong interest from aspiring teachers throughout the province.
