Punjab govt issues winter vacations notification 2024

LAHORE: The Punjab government has officially announced winter vacations for all government and private schools in the region. The notification issued by the Secretary School Education said that schools will remain closed from December 20, 2024, to January 10, 2025, here on Tuesday.

Winter Vacations in Punjab 2024

The winter vacations will end on January 10, and after a weekend vacation on January 11-12, 2025, schools will reopen on Monday, January 13, 2025. Indeed, ensuring continuous health protocols.

As per the issued notification by Education Secretary, “It is informed that winter vacations will be observed in all government and private schools of the province of Punjab from 20.12.2024 to 10.01.2025. All schools will reopen on Monday, 13″ 2025 (11.01.2025 and 12.01.2025 on Saturday and Sunday).

It said that restrictions on wearing face masks in school premises will remain in place. The concerned Chief Executive Officers (DEAs) have been directed to ensure compliance with the orders.
