LAHORE: In a recent development, Punjab University has declared winter holidays for all departments and affiliated educational institutions starting on Monday, December 23, 2024.
The university has announced the same through an official notification detailing the winter recess schedule.
As per the holiday notification, all teaching departments and all constituent colleges will be closed from Monday, December 23, 2024, to Friday, December 27, 2024. This will enable students and staff to relax and recharge during the long winter break.
The university will reopen on December 30, 2024, with the 28th and 29th of December being weekly holidays. The Administrative Staff, however, will continue for the usual hours to ensure that the running of the University goes on.
