Punjab plans to reduce school holidays to boost academic days

LAHORE: The government has prepared a new plan regarding holidays for schools and colleges.

According to a private news channel, the Punjab government has prepared a plan to reduce holidays in schools and colleges across the province to increase the annual academic days to 190 days.

In this regard, the committee has prepared a recommendation, under which the summer holidays will be reduced from two and a half months to 6 weeks (one and a half months).

The aim of this decision of the government is to improve the academic performance of male and female students and complete the educational curriculum. Private school associations have also supported this proposal.
