KARACHI: Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori announced the establishment of IT universities in six districts of the province, with provincial ministers set to inaugurate them.

Tessori underlined the need for IT training during the ninth Iftar dinner at Governor House, noting that IT pupils in Pakistan could earn between Rs. 800,000 and Rs. 500000 every month.

The governor pledged free IT courses for everyone regardless of age or level of education and urged all to sign up. He added too that the Governor House is now running according to the doctrine of public service, therefore deviating from their earlier need-based approach.

Tessori repeated his pledge to solve Karachi’s most pressing problems, including infrastructure, clean drinking water, electricity, and gas.

Notwithstanding government officials’ assertion that resolving these issues falls outside the scope of the governor’s power, Tessori has launched IT programs, delivered ration bags, and given bikes free of government support.

Together with plots and Umrah tickets, the governor also unveiled a fresh plan to dispense cash awards. Children also had a raffle during the event; winners received Eidi, and others got an Umrah trip and a 120squareyard parcel of land in a wise city project.

Many individuals, among them students from several universities, attended the Iftar dinner, where Governor Tessori mingled with attendees, heard complaints, and took selfies with the youngsters.
