Sindh launches e-Transfer system for teachers

ISLAMABAD: The Sindh Education Department has implemented an e-transfer system for the transfer of teachers and employees.

According to a private news channel, on the instructions of Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah, the Education Department has digitized the traditional transfer system.

The Education Department says that the e-transfer system will be functional from January 15, the digital system will be expanded in phases to achieve effective results.

Teachers will be able to check the status of the transfer from home by applying online.

The Education Department says that in the first phase, teachers and later all employees will be included in the system. The new system will save time, reduce costs, and eliminate administrative obstacles.

Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah said that modern technology in education will make administrative matters more transparent, and the e-transfer system will be effective in eliminating recommendations and delays in teacher transfers.

It should be noted that 133,547 teachers are serving in the Sindh School Education Department, including 105,258 primary and 28,289 junior elementary teachers.
