NAROWAL: In a recent development, the Narowal Deputy Commissioner has prolonged school holidays until September 7, with flooding ongoing in the district.

The announcement was made on Saturday after news reports that the current flood situation has rendered it unsafe to resume educational institutions. Both private and public schools will be closed during this time.

Officials indicated the extension is aimed at safeguarding students, teachers, and school staff as the recovery and relief efforts in the affected zones proceed.
