ISLAMABAD: Schools in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad continue to be in limbo amid the constant protests by a political religious party and increased security protocols.
Authorities still have not made it clear if schools and colleges will resume classes on Monday, October 13, or stay shut.
This comes after road barricades due to rallies and sit-ins have crippled transport and communication links in the three cities. Authorities had previously announced the closure of schools before the long march to Islamabad, based on security reasons.
Private school organizations also made Saturday a holiday in the three cities.
