ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the convoy led by KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has crossed the Hazara Interchange and moving toward the capital city (Islamabad).

According to recent media analysis, the number of people participating in the protest has decreased significantly as compared to PTI’s past record breaking power rallies.

As PTI protest enters second day, to keep the situation in control and to ensure public safety, children being the first priority, the district administration  announced on Sunday night that all educational institutions in the twin cities will remain closed.

Whereas, as road conditions are concerned all entry and exit points of the federal capital has been completely blocked, meanwhile according to rough estimate around 6,000 police personnel are deployed in Islamabad to control any law and order situation.

As PTI caravan from KP  is heading towards the federal city, all routes leading to Islamabad are closely monitored by the police. Special security teams patrolled the garrison town in the meantime, and more staff were stationed at 33 important access points, such as Rawat, Mundra, Chakri, and Chongi No. 26.

Additionally, the government has partially suspended internet services in several areas of Pakistan. Netizens are facing difficulties in texting and calling making communication difficult for them.
