RAWALPINDI: DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry says that there is nothing greater than the state of Pakistan, the desires of a person have increased to such an extent that he says that if I am not there, then I am nothing.
While holding a press conference, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that he congratulates everyone on the appointment of the Chief of Defense Forces, the headquarters of the Chief of Defense Forces has been started, the headquarters of the Chief of Defense Forces has been needed for a long time.
DG ISPR said that the purpose of the press conference is the internal national security threat, there is nothing greater than the state of Pakistan, its essence and desires have increased to such an extent that he says that if I am not there, then I am nothing, now politics is over, that person has now become a national security threat and is working with external elements.
He said that we are the armed forces of Pakistan and are not a reflection of any political thought. If someone attacks the Pakistani army based on their own thinking, we will also respond. We respect the political leadership of Pakistan but keep the army away from our politics. We will not allow anyone to create a rift between the Pakistani army and the people.
He said that we do not come from the elite class, we come from the middle class or lower middle class. If someone attacks the armed forces or its leadership, we will not tolerate it. We respect all political figures and political parties. You do your politics and keep the army away from it.
DG ISPR said that anyone can have a constructive opinion or observation about this army, people will not be allowed to incite against the army, does he want to create space for another army, when someone meets this person, he gives a narrative against the state of Pakistan and the army, this person gives this narrative by ignoring the constitution, law and rules.
He said that this army stands between the Khawarij terrorists and the people, every country has an army, which constitution and law is this under which you meet a criminal, you meet a criminal and he makes a narrative against the army and its leadership, first he makes a narrative that he should stop remittances so that Pakistan defaults, then he says to target this leadership that stood in front of an army that is 8 times stronger in the constitution, when you ask his party, they say that we do not know where the narrative comes from.
The DG ISPR said that freedom of expression is allowed under Article 19 but it also has some restrictions, Article 19 does not allow you to speak against the country, state and national security, the original narrative was tweeted by this mentally ill person, the Indian media also runs these tweets and narratives, not only social media accounts but also the Indian media runs them, Uzma Khan is sitting on the Indian media and asking PTI to attack, with what joy the Indian media is reporting news about your army chief.
He said that Indian media also jumps on this, then troll accounts come, all of whom are sitting outside, accounts come after tweeting with a sequence and frequency, some external accounts also join it, DG ISPR
He said that Afghan social media is also not left behind, it is also engaged, after that international media also comes to it, I will give another example from two or three days ago, he says that the person from my party who went to NDU is a traitor, if you go by his logic, he is saying that the one who goes to ISPR is a traitor.
