ISLAMABAD: The Swiss Foreign Ministry has said that the talks to be held today in Bergenstock between the US and Iran will no longer go ahead as scheduled. The schedule of the talks will be released later.
On the other hand, the White House has said that US Vice President JD Vance’s departure for Switzerland has been postponed. According to a White House spokesman, the vice president is not currently leaving tonight. The US is looking forward to the technical talks starting soon.
Earlier, it was reported from the Swiss Foreign Ministry that US and Iranian delegates will meet in Bergenstock today to implement the agreement. Representatives of mediators Pakistan and Qatar will also be present on the occasion.

It was not clear which delegates from the parties would participate in the talks in Bergenstock and what kind of talks they would have.
The Swiss government did not release further details about the meeting, however, it was reported that the participation of other countries in the meeting has also been removed from the new declaration.
