Lahore: Young girl survives jump from hospital roof

LAHORE: A 25-year-old girl jumped from the fourth floor of the OPD of the General Hospital. The victim, Ayesha, was undergoing treatment in Medical Unit No. 2. After the incident, the injured girl was immediately shifted to the surgical emergency for treatment.

According to the police, the girl jumped due to mental instability. Fortunately, the condition of the victim is now said to be out of danger.

SSP Operations Tauqeer Naeem said that the girl’s mental stability was not right. He said that when the girl’s brother went out to get food, Ayesha climbed onto the roof and jumped from there. Legal action has been initiated in the incident.

The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Ayesha, son of Muhammad Nawaz, who is said to belong to Abbottabad.
